Improving Small Business Input on Federal Regulations

January 19, 2017, the Subcommittee on Regulatory Affairs and Federal Management held a hearing morning hearing. The subcommittee examined the Regulatory Flexibility Act, the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act, and other statutes that guide regulatory procedures.

Witnesses for the hearing included Mr. Rosario Palmieri, Mr. Jerry Hietpas, Ms. Karen Harned, and Business Management Associates president LaJuanna Russell. Mrs. Russell offered her perspective on how Congress and the Trump administration can create opportunities for small businesses like BMA to give input on proposed regulations going forward.
